This is a small web app designed to support bellringers with learning the ‘Standard 41’ Surprise Minor methods.
Table is a clickable table that shows the methods arranged in columns and rows depending on their over / under work.
Quiz generates questions to test your knowledge of the structure of each method.
Practice allows you to ‘tap-along’ to test your knowledge of the blueline of a particular method, or random leads.
Use Settings to enable / disable certain methods from appearing in the other tabs if you are learning a subset of the 41.
If you would like the content on this page to be bigger then either use Ctrl+ & Ctrl- or pinch-to-zoom, whichever your device supports.
The below table exists in a few guises on the internet. It shows all 41 methods laid out in a grid with those in the same column having the same work over the treble, and those in the same row having the same work under. Methods that differ only at the half-lead or lead-end are in adjacent columns/rows.
Click a method name to show the blue line.
